Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mummies!

It's already October! And that means Halloween is coming! I'm working on a line of spooky treats to spice up your Halloween parties and first up: My Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mummies!

Ever eat straight out of a tub of cookie dough even though it says do not consume raw? Well you're in luck! All ingredients in my cookie dough are edible un-baked! No need to worry about raw eggs!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mummies

Cook Time | Approx. 25 minutes | Servings: 20 cookies | Calories per serving: ~81 cals

Ingredients:

1 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp fat free milk

2 tbsp light brown sugar

4 tbsp zero calorie sweetener (I use sweet n low)

6 tbsp whipped cream cheese

1 cup flour

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp nestles mini chocolate chips

10 tbsp nestles mini white chocolate chips

20 sets of candied eyes

Parchment or wax paper

In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients together EXCEPT for the chocolate chips (both milk and white).

Add in the whipped cream cheese using a fork to mix and mash it with the dry ingredients, a dough- like consistency will start to form.

Next add in the milk, vanilla extract, and coconut oil. You should now be seeing a nice dough texture. Finally add in the chocolate chips folding the dough with the fork or your hands until the chocolate chips are spread evenly through the dough.

Divide the dough into 20 even balls by tearing a piece of the dough off and rolling it in your hands. Place the dough balls on a sheet of parchment paper.

Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave using 30 second intervals and stirring in between each interval. Be careful not to over heat the chocolate. Pour mixture into a piping bag or use a zip lock baggie. (If using a zip lock baggie, pour the chocolate in and hold the bag at an angle so the chocolate goes to the corner of a bag. Cut a very SMALL snip off the corner of the bag.) Slowly squeeze out the chocolate over the cookie dough balls while going back and forth in a horizontal motion. Place two candied eyes on the top of the cookie dough. Place them in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to solidify and enjoy!
