These cookies bring back so many memories for me! My grandma used to make them for us when we were kids all the time! I was recently handed down the recipe and who knew they were so light in calories!
You can make these in a strawberry flavor or a lemon! Try them both out and see which one you like better!
Cook Time | Approx. 25 minutes | Servings: 50 cookies | Calories per serving: ~43 cals
1 box ducan hines super moist strawberry cake mix or lemon cake mix
2 cups cool whip (thawed)
1/4 cup powdered sugar (you won't use it all)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a bowl mix together the cake mix, cool whip, and the egg.
Using a spoon or melon baller scoop droplets the size of a teaspoon and roll in the powdered sugar form a small ball. Place the ball onto a baking sheet. Repeat until you have used up all of the cake mix- should make between 45-50 cookies depending on the size you make.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Remove and let cool completely before eating.
