White Chocolate Peppermint Milkshake
December is here and everyone is spreading holiday cheer! I love December, it's when all the great limited addition chocolates come out. Of those chocolates, Ghirardelli's peppermint bark may just be one of my favorites! This year when shopping through the grocery store I discovered they came out with peppermint being chunks. A few days later my white chocolate peppermint milkshake was born.

White Chocolate Peppermint Milkshake
Cook Time: Approx. 10 minutes | Servings: 2 | Calories per serving: ~197.5 cals
Ingredients:
1 pint of Halo Top Vanilla Bean ice cream
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup Ghirardelli Peppermint baking chunks
1/4 tsp peppermint extract (if you really love a strong peppermint flavor add 1/2 tsp)
Optional Toppings:
Whip cream
Combine the ice cream, milk, baking chunks, and peppermint extract in the blender and pulse until smooth.
Pour into a glass and top with optional whip cream. For the peppermint stripe affect in the whip cream add red food coloring to half of the cool whip and stir until red. Add white whip cream and the red whip cream in a zip lock baggie, making sure they lie parallel to each other in the bag. Cut the corner open and squeeze out to create a red and white stripe pattern.
